Use the Notebook

The power goes out during a thunderstorm. Students can continue working using battery power but they cannot connect to the Internet. They open their Pearson System of Courses Notebook and answer the question posed. They can do this offline and share their work when they are back online.

Students can start a new Notebook from within lessons.

The Notebook opens. Here, students may add text, images, links, and more to complete the assignment.

Mrs. Fuller suggests students use some of the Notebook tools such as stamps, text, and drawing to complete their answers. When the students return to class tomorrow, she asks them to share their Notebooks with her.

After Timothy completes the assignment, he taps the Share icon, selects the Notebook page, chooses Mrs. Fuller as the recipient from the list, and writes a brief note to her.
